Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Service Technician to ensure buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units—handling paperwork, inventory, and vendor coordination.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and compliance with property safety policies. Flexible scheduling and various benefits are included.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (required)
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (where applicable)
• State and local certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance
• Prepare vacant units for leasing and conduct pre-move-out inspections
• Track inventory and coordinate with maintenance supervisor for reorders
• Document work orders accurately for tracking
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist in repairs and cleaning
