Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair work across the property's buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage inventory, and coordinate with the maintenance team while following safety policies. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate vehicle on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Conduct make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and notify supervisor for reorders.
• Document work orders accurately for records and tracking.
• Assist grounds and common areas maintenance; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.

Education

EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification
