Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building and grounds meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose defects, perform preventive maintenance, and support make-ready processes for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification must be held.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications are required as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license to operate vehicles on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and code.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing and conducts pre-move inspections.
• Tracks materials, tools and inventory; reports re-order needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for record-keeping.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists in upkeep of amenities.
• Supports cost-control by reusing parts when feasible.
