Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair property systems, ensuring safety and cleanliness across buildings and common areas. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license, with a robust range of benefits and the possibility of occasional travel to other properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance ensuring property meets safety and cleanliness standards.
• Performs make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and supplies.
• Accesses materials and tracks inventory, coordinates with maintenance supervisor for re-orders, and ensures proper use of tools.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and attending to amenities as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing instead of replacing parts when possible and avoiding material waste.
