Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across our properties. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and code standards.

The position requires EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Competitive benefits are offered with this full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses the source or cause of defects and makes repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by performing pre-move-in/ pre-move-out tasks, scheduling vendors, and ensuring all tasks are completed.
• Manages materials, supplies, and equipment by tracking usage and notifying maintenance for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely to enable proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
• May inspect work performed by contractors or vendors to verify quality and compliance.
• Assists in conducting routine property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns.
