Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will help manage rent collections, delinquency, and overall property cash flow while supervising onsite staff.

The role covers leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management in adherence with company policies and fair housing guidelines. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential; a high school diploma is required,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years of housing industry experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Post and reconcile payments; monitor accounts receivable and rent collection.
• Supervise onsite staff; hire, train, coach, and develop team; ensure policy compliance.
• Implement leasing management and marketing strategies; ensure lease signings and documentation are up to date.
• Plan and monitor property resources, vendor bids, and maintenance oversight.
