Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financials at the housing community under the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, accounts receivable, and on-site staff, while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role involves supervising staff, coordinating marketing and leasing activities, and supporting budgeted financial targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years in housing industry or related experience is acceptable.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is needed.
• Ability to use onsite software and basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately for residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and issue late notices; assist with evictions as needed.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Oversee leasing, occupancy, and compliance with company policies.
