Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage leasing and maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

The role includes delinquency management, rent collection, and reporting to support budgeted revenues and NOI. Candidates should have a high school diploma or better; a Bachelor’s degree or housing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under supervision.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administration in absence of the Community Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
