Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and risk, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

You will help optimize cash flow through delinquency and collection efforts, oversee budgeting, and ensure high levels of resident satisfaction while coordinating with on-site teams to support community

Qualifications

• Knowledge of property operations, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
• Experience supervising onsite staff and leasing teams.
• Familiarity with fair housing and OSHA basics.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from residents and applicants accurately.
• Process daily accounts receivable and reconcile them.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, contact residents/guarantors, file evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill-back utilities where applicable.
• Manage end-of-month closings and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
• Inspect units and post move-out charges and security deposits.
