Job summary

Under close supervision, the rep will handle front-end operations, triage inquiries, and ensure accurate billing-related information while contributing to continuous process improvements in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Supports front-end operations of a complex outpatient clinic.
• Provides positive customer service supporting departmental and hospital operations.
• Interacts with patients and families to deliver service with empathy.
• Responds to routine inquiries about hospital policies and procedures.
• Schedules patient encounters and coordinates with providers and departments.
• Registers new patients and processes demographics, insurance and referrals.
