Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Patient Experience Representative I to support administrative operations at the Waltham site. This 100% onsite role focuses on coordinating services for patients and families and delivering excellent customer service in a busy clinical setting.

• No healthcare experience required; basic customer service and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing with empathy.
• Demonstrates attention to detail in busy clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Greets, screens, directs, and registers patients; enrolls in patient portal.
• Schedules encounters and coordinates flow to optimize patient experience.
• Collects patient demographics, insurance, and referrals; updates EMR.
• Assists with handoffs, triages inquiries, and supports call centers as needed.
