Zusammenfassung

Boston Children's Hospital seeks a part-time temp Patient Experience representative to provide administrative support to the General medicine unit. You will coordinate services for patients and families, demonstrate interest in departmental initiatives, and contribute to continuous process improvement while delivering positive customer service.

The role includes scheduling, authorizations, admissions/discharges, and routine clerical tasks.

Qualifikationen

• High school level of education; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to show empathy in challenging interactions.

Aufgaben

• Manage patient encounters with positive, effective service supporting unit operations.
• Coordinate with referring providers and practices; obtain required authorizations.
• Schedule patients and support patient encounters.
• Record and forward messages; triage calls; initiate emergency services when needed.
• Process admissions and discharges; provide routine clerical support.
