Boston Childrens Hospital is seeking a Patient Experience Representative I for our Weymouth location. This onsite role focuses on coordinating services to patients and families, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting administrative operations within a clinical service.

Responsibilities include greeting and registering patients, enrolling in the patient portal, coordinating with practices, scheduling encounters, and handling insurance information and authorizations.

• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and coworkers.
• Demonstrates empathy in difficult personal situations.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, effective customer service to patients, families and visitors.
• Greet, screen, direct and register patients; enroll in patient portal.
• Coordinate with providers to manage complex patient issues and calls.
• Schedule encounters and monitor daily schedules to optimize patient experience.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist patients during visits.
• Collect demographics, insurance info and referrals; obtain authorizations.
