Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Machine Technician to install, configure, and maintain packaging equipment at customer facilities in Fletcher, NC. You will start up, train customers, and provide ongoing service while building strong, trust-based relationships with assigned accounts.

The role requires troubleshooting, hands-on mechanical work, and collaboration with R&D, Software, and Quality teams. Expect travel, on-site work, and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent vocational training.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer sites and coordinate field activities.
• Troubleshoot issues using drawings and documentation.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as needed.
• Analyze KPI data to identify machine performance issues.
• Install Packsize solutions and train customers to use them.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and manage travel arrangements.
• Maintain safety protocols and communicate information clearly.
• Operate and support Packsize equipment at customer sites.
• Clear jams, change labels, and perform routine machine tasks.
