Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform hands-on maintenance across a Garden-style property in Tennessee. The role focuses on repairs, preventive maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacant units while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, valid driver’s license, and adherence to property policies. On-site work with rotating on-call schedule and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property according to policy and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Accesses and allocates materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documentation of service requests for proper tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; performs cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.

Education
