Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain residential properties, perform preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units. The role requires safety-focused, hands-on work across indoor and outdoor areas with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, coordinating with vendors, maintaining documentation, and supporting grounds and common areas. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required or preferred, with

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance on the property in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes, inspections, punch list, vendor coordination, and inspections of completed work.
• Access and obtain materials from the maintenance department, track inventory, and notify supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Document all service requests timely and accurately so they can be tracked.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning, painting, and minor repairs; support cost-cutting by using parts wisely.
• Assist in ensuring safety and compliance by attending trainings and reporting incidents promptly.
