Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's physical infrastructure and common areas in Murfreesboro, TN. You will diagnose and repair building systems, perform make-ready tasks for vacant homes, and help keep grounds, amenities, and safety standards in top condition.

Ideal candidates will have EPA refrigerant certifications, valid driver’s license for on-site carts, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing the defect or problem and making repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant apartments including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Manage materials and inventory, tracking usage and re-orders with supervision.
• Complete documentation for service requests for tracking and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Inspect contractor work to verify quality and compliance.
• Attend routine safety meetings and complete required OSHA trainings.
• Conduct periodic property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns.
