Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role involves on-site maintenance, make-ready tasks, and inventory control at a 300-unit property.

You will follow safety procedures, perform inspections, and support residents with timely maintenance requests. A flexible schedule, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• All required certifications per State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and punch lists, scheduling vendors and obtaining supplies.
• Track inventory, access materials, return unused items, and notify supervision of re-ordering needs.
• Complete documentation for service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning, painting, and upkeep as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
