Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building and grounds meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and function. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing issues, completing work orders, and assisting with make-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), state/local certifications, and a valid driver's license for golf-cart operation on property. This is an on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required (Type 1 and II or Universal).
• Certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions for service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Accesses and obtains materials from maintenance dept., tracks inventory and notifies for re-orders.
• Documents work orders promptly and accurately for tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing instead of replacing parts when feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local jurisdiction certifications (as required)

Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
