Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Turn Helper for onsite maintenance duties, including corrective, preventive, routine, and cosmetic tasks. You will assist in make‑ready processes and support the Maintenance Supervisor to meet property objectives and uphold safety standards.

The role requires regular daily onsite attendance, basic computer skills, and a working knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA guidelines. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Turn maintenance: perform corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Make‑ready tasks aligned with property objectives under supervision.
• Maintain daily grounds and common areas; respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Inspect and repair community features; maintain a safe, organized maintenance shop.
• Communicate effectively with residents and management; uphold safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
