Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Turn Help to support maintenance operations at our community. The role requires regular onsite attendance, hands-on cleaning, grounds care, and make-ready work to prepare units for residents.

You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in executing preventive maintenance and safety standards. The position emphasizes responsive service to residents, timely work orders, and active participation in inspections while maintaining a well‑organized shop

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure all repairs and replacements necessary for community common areas and units.
• Daily clean up of exterior areas, grounds, breezeways and common spaces.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Inspect and identify hazardous conditions and address concerns.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend property life.
• Follow Asset key policy and maintain safety standards.
• Keep maintenance shop organized and stocked; adhere to OSHA guidelines.
• Assist in hazard communication program and promote safe practices.
• Participate in unit inspections as requested.
• Report violations to supervisor/manager.
• Use resources efficiently; perform additional tasks as needed.
• Manage customer service and monitor service request turnaround.
• Project a positive image of the community and uphold policies.
