Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support properties in the Washington, DC area. You will diagnose defects, perform preventive maintenance, complete make-readies for new moves, and keep grounds and common areas clean and safe.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license for golf-cart operation on-property, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Great benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, depending on size.
• Certifications as required by state/local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Track inventory, access materials, and communicate needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting.
