Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across the property, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all common areas and units. You will handle work orders, inspect vacant homes for leasing readiness, track materials, and assist with groundskeeping.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Essential responsibilities involve diagnosing issues and completing work orders
• Make-ready process for vacant apartments including pre-move-out inspections and scheduling contractors
• Maintain documentation for service requests
• Assist in groundskeeping and maintaining amenities
• Practice cost-control by repairing parts when possible

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes
• Prepares vacants by inspecting, punch listing, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed
• Maintains inventory and returns unused items to established locations, notifies supervisor on re-orders
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking
• Keeps grounds, amenities clean; paints curbs, surfaces as needed
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts
