Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical upkeep of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing vacants for leasing, managing materials, documenting tasks, and supporting grounds maintenance.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) and a valid driver’s license for on‑site

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Manages materials and inventory: tracks usage, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor to reorder as needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assists in grounds, common areas, and amenities upkeep, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost‑control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
