Packsize is seeking a Resident Service Engineer to install, configure and maintain equipment at customer facilities in Joliet, IL. The role requires troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and customer training, with a 6pm-6:30am schedule Friday-Sunday and a 10% night shift differential.

You will work cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams to ensure reliable performance, safety adherence, and exceptional service. Travel to customer sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus and ability to work with customers
• Strong comfort with Windows platforms and basic software
• Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical assemblies
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with MS Office or Google Suite is helpful

Responsabilités

• Schedule tasks at customer sites and coordinate with customers
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Software, and QA teams
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services
• Analyze customer KPIs to identify machine performance issues and maintenance needs
• Install Packsize solutions and train customers on use and maintenance
• Prepare detailed technical reports and respond to emails in a timely manner
• Adhere to safety requirements and safety protocols
• Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting
• Clear jams, change labels, and manage routine machine adjustments
