Job summary

Packsize International is seeking a Resident Service Engineer for Joliet, IL. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Packsize equipment at customer facilities, with a Friday-Sunday night shift (6pm-6:30am).

You will train customers, analyze machine performance, and collaborate with R&D, Software and Quality teams to deliver exceptional service. Required are an associate degree or vocational training (or equivalent), strong customer service mindset, and experience with

Qualifications

• Associates degree, vocational training or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
• Customer service focus.
• Knowledge of Windows platforms.
• Knowledge of hand tools and mechanical platforms.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Basic Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as they arise.
• Analyze customer KPIs to identify machine performance issues.
• Install Packsize solutions and train users on use and maintenance.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and travel arrangements.
• Adhere to safety requirements and communicate effectively with customer personnel.
