Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Resident Service Engineer for Joliet, IL. This on-site role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Packsize equipment at customer facilities. You will perform start-up testing, provide customer training, and build strong, trust-based relationships.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot using drawings, work with cross-functional teams, and handle routine maintenance and emergency services. Evening schedule is Mon-Thurs 5pm-3:30am with a 10% night differential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent training required; related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
• Experience with Windows platforms and basic MS Office is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer sites and coordinate field work.
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as needed.
• Analyze KPI data to identify machine performance issues and drive maintenance.
• Install Packsize solutions and train customers to use and maintain them.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and travel arrangements as required.
