Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Resident Service Engineer in Indianapolis, IN to install, configure and maintain Packsize equipment at customer facilities. You will lead start-up testing, train customers on product capabilities, and build strong relationships with assigned accounts.

The role requires problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently, with meaningful travel to customer sites. Hourly compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Familiarity with Windows platforms.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Experience with mechanical systems or equipment.
• Comfort working independently with limited supervision.
• Basic Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience.
• Associates/Vocational training or higher; bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer sites and coordinate with teams.
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as needed.
• Analyze customer KPIs to identify machine performance issues.
• Perform start-up testing and customer training on product features.
