Job summary

Packsize International is seeking a Resident Service Engineer in Joliet, IL to install, configure and maintain Packsize equipment at customer facilities. You will train customers on product capabilities and ensure safety and uptime through proactive maintenance and responsive service.

Ideal candidates have an associates or technical degree, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Training or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows platforms.
• Knowledge of hand tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical platforms.
• Basic Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience.
• Customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer job sites and coordinate visits.
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as needed.
• Install Packsize solutions and train customers on use and maintenance.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and travel arrangements.
