Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and advisory services at a local TurboTax location in the United States.

You will work with clients in person and virtually, handling straightforward to complex returns and linking customers with the broader Intuit ecosystem. You’ll grow the local client base, deliver a best-in-class experience, and collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex returns.
• Facilitate sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan taxes.
• Connect clients with Intuit specialists for bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Grow the local client base through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with clear explanations and personalized service.
• Represent TurboTax as a community ambassador and build lasting relationships.
