Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop Technician to join our client’s team onsite in Solon, OH. You will provide end-user support, acting as the local hands and feet for IT implementations and ongoing support.

The role requires strong Windows desktop support experience and excellent customer service. You will support Desk side and remote users, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and coordinate with IT vendors during deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of deskside PC support and customer service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Experience assisting with IT system implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, basic Mac support, imaging, Active Directory, ITSM, and Office 365/Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 deskside and remote support for Windows-based systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, and chat.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT vendors during system implementations.
• Assist with testing IT implementations, including network access, wireless connectivity, and telephony.
• Coordinate and manage relationships between IT vendors and local client support teams.
