Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team onsite in Springdale, OH. You will provide end-user support at the customer site, handling PC hardware and software issues, AV setups, and network-related tasks.

The role requires 3+ years in desktop support, strong problem-solving, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. You will work in a fast-paced enterprise environment with a focus on excellent customer service and collaboration with onsite teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting PC hardware and software, comfortable with servers and network equipment
• Familiarity with A/V conference rooms and interfacing with central A/V team
• Experience providing executive white glove support and asset management
• Proactive, high-energy, able to handle fast-paced environment and multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Repair, test, image and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other hardware
• Troubleshoot software and peripherals; set up, configure and add hardware
• Perform IMAC events for printer migrations and PC refreshes
• Support server equipment installations, configurations, upgrades and patches
• Back up and protect end-user data; follow outage procedures
• Assist with network hardware, performance issues, and enterprise IT systems
• Provide in-person end-user technical support at customer sites
• Document improvements to current IT processes
• Support site leadership in execution of established processes and escalations
