Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a Level I Desktop Technician to join our Jacksonville, FL onsite team. This role focuses on providing frontline IT support to internal and external customers and maintaining daily operation of devices and software.

You will diagnose hardware/software issues across laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices, perform basic configuration and repairs, and document outcomes in our ticketing system while communicating clearly with users.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
• Experience in desktop and/or infrastructure support.
• Ability to use ticketing systems to track and close requests.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures.
• Performs service, repair and/or installation of computer products and networks.
• Maintains user accounts and permissions; performs password resets.
• Updates notes and documentation in ticketing systems.
