Job summary

Asset Living in Irving, TX is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site, including leasing, maintenance, staff supervision, and financial management.

You will lead resident relations, ensure compliance with fair housing guidelines, develop yearly budgets, and implement marketing and retention initiatives while upholding Asset Living's standards of service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices.
• Head emergency team for the property and manage resident complaints, retention programs, and leasing activities.
