Job summary

Walbridge is seeking an IT Technician to provide on-site support at the project location in Van Buren Township, MI. The role focuses on Windows-based systems, hardware deployments, and end-user assistance to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include Tier 1/2 Windows support, hardware/software deployment, workstation setup for new hires, and basic network support. Candidates should have 3+ years of Windows IT support and be willing to travel and train in Detroit if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training or experience.
• 3+ years IT support in a Windows environment, via remote tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
• Experience documenting work in a ticketing system.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Windows 11 Tier 1/2 support and user assistance.
• Deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals per policy.
• Onboarding and workstation setup for new hires.
• Support new technologies and pilot deployments.
• Basic network setup and VPN troubleshooting.
• Research and recommend IT improvements.
• Deliver end-user training and guidance.
