Job summary

Generac in Waukesha, Wisconsin, seeks a Systems Support Specialist II to provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, phones and peripherals. The role collaborates with IT to resolve complex issues and may work at a remote site when needed.

You will install, diagnose, repair and upgrade hardware and software, assist with training, and document issues with clear steps. On-site at our facility, you may participate in Tier 1 support and asset management.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
2 years of experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, phones and network issues.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365 and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on hardware, software and network support for desktop PCs and peripherals in office and manufacturing environments.
Support higher level specialists with server hardware and network infrastructure through incident troubleshooting.
Document fixes and root-cause analyses, and escalate where needed.
