Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists seeks an IT Support Technician to provide onsite support for operations facilities. You will image and deploy laptops, support Windows 11 and Linux, and resolve hardware, OS, and app issues while following SOPs.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, independent work, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations and site shifts. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support experience.
• Experience imaging and deploying laptops.
• Printer troubleshooting and support experience.
• Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Windows 11 and Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience with a ticketing system.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and SOPs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktops.
• Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application issues.
• Support user onboarding and workstation setup activities.
• Diagnose and resolve printer issues, including network-connected printers.
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting, including connectivity and cabling issues.
• Respond to equipment failures and restore service following SOPs.
• Assist with asset management and equipment lifecycle activities.
• Work tickets and service requests within SLA requirements; CM activities.
• Escalate complex issues when resolution steps are unclear.
