Job summary
GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide onsite end-user and infrastructure support at our operations facilities. The role focuses on laptops/desktops, printers, and basic networking, with strong adherence to SOPs and on-call rotations.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on IT support, experience imaging laptops, printer troubleshooting, and familiarity with Windows 11 and Linux environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hands-on IT support experience.
- Experience imaging/deploying laptops and desktops.
- Printer troubleshooting and basic networking.
- Proficient with Windows 11 and Linux.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and SOPs.
- Excellent communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktops.
- Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues.
- Assist with user onboarding and workstation setup.
- Diagnose and resolve printer issues, including network printers.
- Basic networking troubleshooting and connectivity checks.
- Respond to service tickets within SLA; escalate when needed.
- Follow Change Management procedures and SOPs.
