Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an IT Support Technician to join a growing enterprise IT team, providing Level 1–2 support to office and operations users in Syracuse, NY. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365, and assist with endpoint deployments and user account administration.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, or technical support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with desktop hardware, software installation, and user support.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support via phone, ticketing systems, remote support tools, and in-person assistance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365 applications, Outlook, and user account administration.
• Perform workstation deployments, imaging, hardware replacements, and equipment setup.
• Support printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other end-user technologies.
• Manage and resolve support tickets while maintaining strong customer service standards.
• Escalate complex issues when necessary and assist with project-based IT initiatives.
• Support both corporate office users and operational personnel.
