Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Tucson, AZ for a contract, onsite role. You will handle end-user support, hardware upgrades, and printer/AV assistance while working with AD and Microsoft 365 tools. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

The role requires hands-on support, both in person and remotely, with a focus on timely resolutions and clear documentation in a ticketing system. Local travel is minimal. This position closes Oct 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing Windows PCs and hardware.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work onsite in Tucson, AZ.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and technical support to end users in person, remotely, by phone, and through email.
• Install, configure, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade desktop and laptop hardware.
• Troubleshoot Windows-based operating systems, applications, hardware, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
• Configure, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot network printers and multifunction devices.
• Provide audiovisual and technical support for meetings and events.
• Assist with user and device-related support within Active Directory.
• Work with common enterprise applications and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 tools.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
• Manage changing priorities throughout the day while ensuring issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other technical teams while also working independently when needed.
