Air InfoSec is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide end-user technical support for Windows and Microsoft 365 in a fully onsite office setting in Columbia, SC. The role requires clear communication with users across technical levels and coordination with technical partners to resolve issues.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting, ticket documentation, and account/device management using AD, Entra ID, and Intune, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 2 years of help desk or IT support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
• Working knowledge of general IT support practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve common Windows operating system issues for end users.
• Diagnose and resolve Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Gather relevant information from users to identify and assess technical problems.
• Explain technical issues and resolutions clearly to nontechnical users.
• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Prioritize incoming support tickets based on urgency and impact.
• Recognize when issues require escalation and route them appropriately.
• Follow up with users and technical partners to ensure requests are resolved.
• Support user account and device management tasks using Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune.
• Submit and track vendor and MSP support tickets through completion.
