Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Systems Support Specialist for an onsite, six-month contract. You will provide first-level IT support, install and configure PCs, printers, and peripherals, and manage ticketing system entries to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience installing, configuring and resolving PC issues.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Windows, Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Familiar with ticketing systems and basic scripting (PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for internal and external customers.
• Set up and configure printers; monitor WAN.
• Enter work in the ticketing system and meet deadlines.
• Occasional on-call duty nights/weekends.
• Assist LAN/Server with research on PC products and tech info.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and performance standards.
