Job summary

Solution Partners, Inc. is seeking a full-time onsite IT support technician in Grand Rapids, MI for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on delivering strong customer service and effective end-user device support across client locations.

The ideal candidate will install Dell hardware, manage SCCM software deployments, configure VPNs, support IT/AV setups for events, assist onboarding, and handle Office 365/Teams support while coordinating with IT teams to escalate issues to resolution.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in computer operations or desktop support.
• CompTIA A+ or MCSE or other IT certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Teams and SCCM.
• Experience with Inventory / Asset Tracking software.
• Ability to follow written IT policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring Dell hardware and peripherals.
• Install programs/software via SCCM and software center.
• Coordinate setup of new devices with end users, shipping and returning old PCs.
• Respond to post-deployment issues related to hardware or software.
• Configure end-user VPNs (Pulse, AoVPN).
• Provide IT/AV conference support for onsite/offsite events and meetings.
• Assist onboarding including equipment procurement and imaging.
• Use ticketing system to document service requests and incidents.
• Provide MS Office 365 support for Outlook Calendar and Teams.
• Printer management and basic network/print issue resolution.
• Collaborate with IT groups to escalate issues to closure.
