Rocket Lab’s IT department is seeking an IT Support Specialist to be based onsite at our Headquarters in California. You will deliver daily IT support for staff, manage onboarding for new hires, and ensure timely access to information and systems.

The role offers exposure to multiple technologies, opportunity for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package. Expected shifts may include evenings or weekends, with on‑call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years’ experience in IT support and high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Windows or Linux desktop operating systems and hardware.
• Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP/DNS).
• Scripting language experience.
• Active Directory and Group Policy experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide day‑to‑day IT support to staff and onboarding of new hires to ensure productivity from day one.
• Track and update support desk tickets (Incidents, Requests, Problems, Changes, Projects).
• Be the point of contact for onboarding new hires and ensuring devices and access are ready.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement of IT services and processes.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends; participate in on‑call rotation.
