Ranger Technical Resources, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to serve as the on-site technical owner at a physical production facility.

You will troubleshoot Windows endpoints, hardware, AD, Group Policy, applications, printers, scanners, and connectivity, resolving issues or routing to the right team with clear technical detail. You will communicate patiently with both technical and nontechnical employees, document troubleshooting steps, findings, and resolutions, and participate in asset

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in IT.
Onsite IT support, desktop support, or junior systems support experience.
Hands‑on experience with Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops.
Active Directory with domain joins, OU placement, authentication, and Group Policy troubleshooting.
Experience diagnosing endpoint connectivity (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
Experience troubleshooting hardware, printers, scanners, peripherals, and onsite equipment.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, and Windows Server support.
Experience documenting troubleshooting steps, findings, resolutions, and escalations.

Responsabilités

Serve as the on‑site technical contact for employees in a physical production facility.
Diagnose and resolve Windows desktop, laptop, application, hardware, printer, scanner, and peripheral issues.
Troubleshoot performance across hardware, Windows, applications, storage, memory, and connectivity.
Join endpoints to the domain and troubleshoot Active Directory, OU placement, authentication, and Group Policy issues.
Investigate endpoint connectivity using physical connections, IP configuration, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and related network basics.
Determine issue origin across endpoint, OS, application, authentication, network, or hardware.
Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange, and SharePoint‑related issues.
Coordinate Windows Server support and configuration tasks with infrastructure engineers.
Install and configure computers, peripherals, and other onsite equipment.
Maintain accurate hardware and asset information.
Document symptoms, troubleshooting steps, findings, and resolutions clearly.
Take ownership of issues or provide the technical assessment to escalated teams.
Communicate patiently with employees and keep them informed throughout the process.
