Job summary
GCS Recruitment Specialists seeks a reliable Tech Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support for Operations facilities, covering end-user computing, printers, networking gear, and OT environments, following SOPs and service-level expectations.
The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, the ability to work independently, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations and site schedules. Minimum 1 year of IT support experience and ticketing system familiarity are preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support experience.
- Experience imaging and deploying laptops.
- Printer troubleshooting and support.
- Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Windows 11 operating systems experience.
- Linux operating systems experience.
- Experience using a ticketing system.
Responsibilities
- Image, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops and desktops.
- Provide technical support for Windows 11 and Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application-related issues.
- Support user onboarding and workstation setup activities.
- Diagnose and resolve printer issues, including network printers.
- Respond to equipment failures and restore service per SOPs.
- Work tickets and service requests within SLA; participate in CM.
