Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Tech Support Specialist to be onsite in Richardson, Texas. You will assist employees with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computers, peripherals, software, and audio/visual equipment.

You will work with vendor support to resolve issues and support standard configurations, while documenting issues in the knowledge base and guiding users on processes. You will also handle hardware relocation as assigned and manage a support queue via remote tools,

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in tech support.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS, O365, MacOS, iOS, Android, TCP/IP services and networks.
• Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
• Strong documentation skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist employees with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and support tech systems and software for business processes.
• Collaborate with vendor support and internal units to evaluate, test, and implement standard configurations.
• Create and publish documentation for software/hardware issues in the enterprise knowledge base.
• Guide users on processes on the floor and manage a queue using remote tools.
