Job summary

Kentro seeks an experienced Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring with onsite duties at Biloxi VA Medical Center, Biloxi, MS. The role includes installation, maintenance, and remote/desk-side IT support across VA facilities.

Responsibilities include AD and ServiceNow administration, ticketing adherence, and proactive customer service. Citizenship or green card and ability to travel for surge work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment for optimal operation and user satisfaction.
• Deliver remote and desk-side technical support, respond to IT support tickets, and diagnose and repair hardware and software components.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, interfacing with software applications, compiling reports, and responding to customer requests.
• Maintain Active Directory and other system accounts, support connectivity and client applications, and assist in configuring and supporting LAN/WAN services.
• Monitor open tickets in VA's ServiceNow system to ensure adherence to processes and propose corrective actions for approval.
• Handle physical handling of equipment and ensure safety while performing tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues identified by customers and implement corrective actions promptly.
