Job summary

Kentro in Cincinnati, OH seeks a skilled Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring programs nationwide. Onsite at Cincinnati VA Medical Center with remote elements as needed, you will diagnose issues, guide customers through resolutions, and log actions in service systems.

The role requires 2+ years IT support or system admin experience, a degree or equivalent, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration.
• Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role as listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and desk-side IT support and troubleshooting for government customers.
• Assist in maintaining Active Directory and other system accounts, interfaces with software applications, and ticketing systems.
• Log data and perform routine system administration tasks as part of service delivery.
• Respond to IT support tickets and perform diagnostic and repair activities on hardware and software components.
• Support equipment deployment, inventorying, and verification, including potential surge capacity travel.
