Job summary

Kentro is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring across the United States. The role includes onsite work at Fort Harrison VA Medical Center (Fort Harrison, MT) with remote support and surge travel as needed.

The incumbent will diagnose issues, guide users through fixes, and perform routine system administration tasks. Candidates should meet physical requirements and have IT support or admin experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline.
• Or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Government with installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of computer systems and equipment.
• Deliver remote and desk-side technical support and respond to IT support tickets.
• Assist in setting up user accounts and interfacing with software applications.
• Maintain Active Directory and system accounts; support network services.
• Monitor VA ServiceNow tickets and propose corrective actions for approval.
• Handle equipment logistics: deployment, returns, inventorying and verification.
